Corus was interested to further understand the global market demand and supply trends in order to plan its future production investment strategy.

Oxbridge was engaged to undertake of global market segmentation study to provide a clear picture of existing and future rail demand projections.  The research identified changes in market requirements and technological developments, highlighted opportunities for product differentiation and added value, evaluated existing and emerging global competitors, performed cost modelling scenarios and delivered recommendations on appropriate investment strategies related to geographic distribution and demand needs.

Oxbridge identified the need for further production investment, in Europe and RoW along with recommendations on the acquisition of plant in Central Europe.  We also helped initiate collaboration agreements with Chinese and Indian producers.
